The construction of the new departure station E-line in The Hague is progressing well; in a few months time the first trams will drive up the new viaduct to arrive at the new station. Currently, final works are taking place on the construction of the roof and the completion of the departure station. The station is nearly finished. All major works have been completed and recently the scaffolding has been removed. All the steel tubing has been assembled and the last glass windows of the roof structure will be installed this month.
Open day
At the end of August, the new departure station E-Line at The Hague Central Station will be opened while on June 18th the station is open for visitors to have a sneak preview during the open day. Visitors will have the chance to visit the station, walk across the viaduct under supervision and join a presentation by ZJA about the new departure station E-Line.
